Hi we have recently been testing ClearOS 5.1. We are in the process of separating the existing network into 2 subnets inorder to enforce content filter for users. The Nortel BCM is in the existing network (192.168.1.x) and the IP Phones are in the new network (192.168.3.x). Even though the calls are getting established between the phones, there is no ring-tone or dial-tone on the phones. We have opened all ports on the firewall and have also disabled intrusion detection/prevention. Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

Thanks.

You have double-NAT so could be causing yourself all sorts of problems. I don't know how to troubleshoot it. The problem could be ClearOS or the Fritzbox of just your network topology.

BTW you have posted into a 10 year old thread about a version of ClearOS that has been end of life for years. Wouldn't it have been better to start a new thread?

i search too for a Solution.

i have AVM Fritzbox as SIP Gateserver on Network 192.168.23.0 before the Clearos, and some Yealink IP Phones behind the Clearos on Network 10.10.23.0.
All Phones are Register correct, but dont Signal on incoming Call.

I had to do a 1-1 NAT for all the ip phones. This solved the problem.
