Hello

I'd like to receive mails from my clearOS server.

Regarding : SYSTEM/PARAMETERS/Mails Setting

defaults values are :

SMTP Hostname/IP : localhost
SMTP Port : 25
Encryption : None
SMTP Username : null
Sender Address : noreply@poweredbyclear.com

And ....

ClearOS mail setting test is said to be successful, but no mail is received....
No mails in spam....

Any ideas ?

Thanks for your help

Regards

Mc

I don't know how you use postfix through Gmail. I have a locally configured postfix (Webconfig > Server > SMTP server). As a have a (slightly) dynamic IP, it is configured to relay mail out via my ISP's mail server, except for my Gmail address where it is configured to use Gmail's SMTP server.

Where are you trying to send your test e-mail to? Is it an address on your local domain or is it an external domain (the bit after the @)? How is your SMTP server configured? Also how do you pick up e-mails?

Mine works. I presume you have an smtp server (postfix) configured? Is it set up to need no authentication? Are you sending the mail to a valid user on your LAN?
