Just installed ClearOS for the first time and then added samba 4. The goal is for an alternative to MS server and AD. I go to Server / Directory / Samba Directory and I cannot see any way to configure it.

How do I associate users with file systems, manage DNS, etc? Nothing seems to be here. What am I missing?

AD is still really a beta app. Please bear in mind that if you use the app a number of packages won't work. I can't remember the list but it is somewhere on the forum. Do you know if you have initialised it yet? Perhaps head to the Users screen.

I pressed the "Details" button on the Server / Directory / Samba Directory page which gave me a configure button. Pressing that gives the following reply:

The requested URL /samba_directory was not found on this server.
