I've never seen this warning on the Repository page before. What does it mean?

Warning
The following recommendations/warnings have been identified:

Consider disabling "clearos-centos" repository - this server has access to verified software updates through a paid service or first 30 days of a Community install.

Do I need these?
Is this a new policy?

I believe that is normal. In the first 30 days of a new installation, it is relatively easy to switch between Community, Home and Business versions. Those two repos are Community only and get the initial releases of any package. If you disable the repos you should still get those packages but delayed by a week or so to make sure you get stable/community tested packages.

After 30 days, if you remain on Community, these repos get enabled and you lose access to the verified repos.

I think that if you have clearos-centos enabled, you should also have clearos-centos-updates enabled.
