I couldn’t find the relevant category to post this in so I just selected uncategorized. So I tried installing ClearOS Home edition from a bootable usb on iMac running Mojave, and I keep getting the errors in the pictures I’ve attached. I’ve tried appending “Nomodeset” to the install destination and also tried removing the “quiet” and then adding “Nomodeset”, which was suggested as a fix for the Ubuntu installations that have the same error on Mac, but those didn’t work either. I tried MacOS Journaled and MS-DOS FAT for the format types and that didn’t help either. Clicking test or install ClearOS prompts the same error screen. I followed the ClearOS Installer guide, tried Etcher, but it just keeps showing that error page. Initially it says “no controller found”, when removing “quiet” and then adding “Nomodeset” it initially works and then runs into a similar error. I’ve followed the ClearOS USB installer guide step by step over and over, but it’s the same. Has anyone had any success installing ClearOS on a Mac? I’m trying to replace MacOS with ClearOS.
