For anyone interested in testing the latest Plex RPM for ClearOS 7, I've added version 0.9.15.3.1674 to the ClearOS mirrors...to install, provided you've installed the original Plex from the Marketplace, run:

ENABLE_BETA=True yum upgrade plexmediaserver

I've done initial testing...aside from having to restart Plex after upgrading:

systemctl restart plexmediaserver.service

I've had no issues..file it under 'works for me'.

I'll leave it in testing repos for a few weeks, then promote it to the default when we hopefully get more feedback confirming stability.

    Cheers for the reply Marcel. as for needing a "plex pass" for basic security is well....

    Think I'll stick with minidnla as it works fine with my denon avr .

    I'm very happy with Plex and bought a lifetime Plexpass when it was still cheap. In my opinion Plex is a really good product!

    You have to do what gives you the right feeling! :)

    Glad I could help...

    I must be missing something, It still allows access to the settings from within the lan, I cant find a way to lock it to a user/ip.

    Have they finally put the server settings behind some sort of admin account/password ? The reason I stopped using it was because anyone could go change the server settings
