Tonight (13/08/19-14/08/19) the following updated packages are being released:

  • app-software-repository - use a different repo to detect if you are a Home/Business user.
  • clamav - upstream to 0.101.3; minor tweak to systemd unit file; spec file tidy ups.
  • app-owncloud - installation tweaks *

All packages released into the Community two weeks ago are being pushed into Business and Home.

* = the package is also being released to Business at the same time.

Delayed

  • none

Packages available for testing

  • app-network - probably not worth testing as there is a pending merge request which may cover some iof the issues found. Also you currently need to have at least two unconfigured interfaces before you can create a bridge interface in the first place. To permanently enable the Add Bridge button, you can change line 74 in /usr/clearos/apps/network/views/ifaces.php to:
    if ($available_interface_count >= 0)
    This is a separate issue.
  • yum-marketplace-plugin - should now work properly with upstream proxies
  • app-software-updates - do they still work? The real test is when a updated app-base is released.
  • roundcubemail - to upstream 1.3.9. This is a contribs package, so, to install add --enablerepo=clearos-contribs-testing to the yum command.

Packages available for testing can be installed with:
yum update --enablerepo=clearos-updates-testing {package-name}

Packages being worked on:

  • app-storage - another big addition of code and some fixes
  • app-network - waiting on a code merge
  • app-attack-detector - preparation for upstream to 0.10.4. This will need a lot of scripting and possibly a change to all apps supplying configlets to /etc/fail2ban/jail.d. Apps known to be affected are app-ssh-server, app-smtp, app-imap, app-ftp and perhaps app-openfire. Does anyone know of any other apps dropping configlet into /etc/fail2ban/jail.d. Does anyone want to help with scripting the changes?

Unfortunately, that part of GitLab is only available to users with a ClearCenter account. It is the same for all paid apps.

Same thought at the same time :)
    This seems working

Only the subscription in Webconfig is not visible and still strange the update change all permissions to root

I did a fresh install on a VM and the permissions are all correct.
    Very strange......
    ----------------------------
Sorry.... now the permission are also changed to root and 0640
I don't know what was the reason for this change.

    Guys,

    A small update.
When i change a setting in webconfig/users it is not update in the owncloud/admin in settings/users.
When the user login at his own name it is updated and also in the admin page.

Somehow the user must login in to owncloud to get/see the update.

You'll need to do the following if that's the case.

    yum --enablerepo=* clean all
    yum update app-owncloud-business

Re-installing the apps works gives the following error

    Installing : 1:app-owncloud-core-3.0.10-6.v7.noarch 1/1
chown: cannot access ‘/usr/share/owncloud/themes/’: No such file or directory
chown: cannot access ‘/var/clearos/owncloud/.htaccess’: No such file or directory
chmod: cannot access ‘/var/clearos/owncloud/.htaccess’: No such file or directory
    Updated trusted_domains in ownCloud's config.php file.

It shows the subscription in accounts back, but after an change in the user setting it disappeares again.

    ok.
I've managed to get it up and running again by copy and paste from old config.php files.

It looks working, but only if i change a setting in webconfig/users - owncloud it is not changing the owncloud setting in owncloud itself.
The subscription warning for Owncloud is also disappeared in Webconfig

Go into the Market and go to Integration. Then make sure you have LDAP Integration installed.

LDAP integration is enabled in Apps
All the settings in LDAP (Owncloud) look OK. All Green lights

Tyler should be online soon. He has done the update so may be able to help. I know there was a folder permission ting he was trying to sort so you can check that the folders /usr/share/owncloud/apps and /usr/share/owncloud/apps-external have 0775 permissions?

I've set all the permission back to what is should be. I have a VM setup where could check the permission.
I can login now, but since it has the wrong database (SQlite) i have lost everything.

Is there a way to go back to the MySQL database ??

    The update broke my Owncloud.
I can not login any more and is give the following errors: (see screenshot)

"Cannot create or write in datadirectory /usr/share/owncloud/data"

And I'm advised to change the database from SQlite to MySQL

My admin login is not working anymore

Changed the permission from root:apache to apache:apache 0750 and i was able to login.
Only my complete configuration is lost and also the users connot login or are available

I'll have to clarify in my thread that when I list the packages being released, it is only the ClearOS maintained packages. that I am listing. Anything that comes directly from upstream (Centos or EPEL) I don't list. Typically all packages with v7 in the name are ClearOS maintained and packages with el7 in the name come directly from upstream.
