The title pretty much sums it up.
Whats the point of limiting each ip address to only one dns entry? This is pretty restrictive considering the fact that virtual hosts also works in a lan environment.
Anyway to bypass this issue?

    It is not limited. Certainly 6.x allows multiple aliases per IP in the webconfig. You can also edit the /etc/hosts file directly.
