I wanted to know if anyone as setup an Nginx instance within their ClearOS install. I have a pretty beefy server running ClearOS that I would also like to use as a load balancer for HTTP (Nginx) requests. I have been looking around but only see docs for running it on CentOS.

I wanted to know if anyone knows if mixing it with ClearOS would work well being that my ClearOS instance would also be the Gateway/Firewall to my network.

I have not tried this myself although I have run other things on ClearOS that were not part of it.

I would caution you heavily in trying this because both apps are going to be heavily involved in networking and might easily trip over each other. For sure it should be tested out on a test box and if you did that I would say dink with it like crazy and try to break it.

    Just my 2 cents.
