Nextcloud 17 is now in the testing repo. For anyone that would like to help with testing here are the commands to upgrade.
I believe you will need SDN 1.4. It would be best if you could test using app-nextcloud or app-nextcloud-business.
Then you can run the following commands.
If you are using Nextcloud for Home
If you are using Nextcloud for Business
The sed command changes the jws version to 1.4 so that the repos work. If you have updates to ClearOS 7.7 you will already be on 1.4.
The ENABLE_BETA turns on the testing repos.

Logging into the Nextcloud webconfig took me straight in without having to perform the upgrade script so I assume that worked OK in your upgrade script. -
