Multi-wan failover mechanism

Hi All

Can anyone tell me how multi-wan checks for a non responsive link - is it a ping? If yes which system is being pinged?

I am having issues with my main internet connection showing as offline, when it is up - so I wanted to check how this works and maybe test the route to the system responding to the ping .

Yes...it is with an ICMP request/response...by default, we try Google's (8.8.8.8) and one of our own (54.152.208.245).

You can customize them in this file:

/etc/syswatch
