So be patient with me. Over 20 years of network server setups with novell and Win server, but clear is a new animal for me. I tested out version 7.2 business for a school district. Got everything working just fine. Got the new Dell hardware, installed business 7.3. Fixes issues with registry on the clients to get them to login into the domain quickly. All is good, except I can't get any of the flexshare drives to map. The win 7 pro clients don't seem to be running the logon.cmd file. The home drive maps fine, and I can map a drive to the netlogon folder, and see the logon.cmd file, and even copy it to the local machine. If I change it to a .bat file, and run it, the drives map fine. So I know my syntax is correct, my permissions are correct, my shares are correct, I can even browse the network and see the shares out there, and click them, so all the access is correct. I just can't get the win 7 pro clients to run the logon.cmd file to map the drives. I'm just using the net use commands to map them. Maybe that's not correct? Maybe something changed to version 7.3, because I'm pretty sure it worked in 7.2 when I tested it.

Wow, there sure is a delay from the time you hit reply until it actually posts. I found out you were right, there was a security issue. The logon.cmd file was read/write, once I added execute, the entire script ran without a problem.

    Hi Jeff,
It is because you are a new user. The first couple of posts have to be approved by the Clearcenter team before they appear as we had a spam problem a while back. The downside is that new users often post twice and I end up having to delete one of the posts (I can delete posts but not approve new users' posts).

Well, I'm not sure about that. I can map a drive to the netlogon directory, and can see the logon.cmd file, but only have read/write access. I can't run the file directly from the netlogon folder. I don't have permission. I can copy the file to my local station. I'm not sure if you are supposed to be able to run it from there or not, or how you give execute permissions to the files.

Do you need to trust the login drive/network location in Windows? I had terrible problems running files from shares until I did that, but note that I use simple filesharing and not a domain. For me I think the answer was in the Microsoft Trust Center but it seems to be an Office only thing so I am not sure.
