Hi

Past Thursday night one of my Clear OS servers was automatically updated: Freeradius, Samba and Openldap was updated.

After it, radius server no longer works.

I've checked freeradius working, launching it in shell with de -X option, and I can check the errors come from winbind, exactly in the mschap call to ntlm_auth.

Ntlm_auth always return a Logon Failure, error 0xC000006D.

The username and the password of the accounts are correct but, ntlm_auth always return this error.

Where is the problem?

And more important, how to solve it?

Regards

It is the issue that I have also reported.
    Chap is failing, pap works.
There was an update for Samba today, but no luck with fixing this issue.

If I run ntml_auth in shell with the data submit in the radius log I get the same error: Logon failure.

Is there any other way to debug ntml_auth?

There are ways to debug the ntlm_auth independent of RADIUS. I'll be putting together a lab to test this error you are encountering.

Are you running the latest version of app-samba? Here's the command to check:

    rpm -q app-samba

It should be version 3.4.5 or higher.
