You can easily install z-push through the z-push repositories, but the ClearOS dependency can be an issue with updates.
I've removed z-push by :

rpm -e  zarafa-z-push-2.2.13 --nodeps

Transaction check error:

  file /var/log/z-push from install of zarafa-z-push-2.3.9-1.v7.noarch conflicts with file from package z-push-common-2.4.4+0-112.1.noarch

  file /usr/bin/z-push-admin from install of zarafa-z-push-2.3.9-1.v7.noarch conflicts with file from package z-push-common-2.4.4+0-112.1.noarch

The followed the instruction according the wiki page and add a repo in /etc/yum.repos.d/z-push.repo with the content:

These settings were not in httpd.conf and i've added it to the file.


I've found the problem with the z-push errors.
The service Kopano iCal Gateway & Kopano POP/IMAP Gateway were not running and some Zarafa services (like Zarafa-search) were still running.
Now i don't see there errors anymore.

I don't *believe* those are fatal...I say that because we once had a ticket that was escalated to Zarafa/Kopano and they were not really concerned with them. Having said that, and this may be related, check your /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf file and make sure:

KeepAlive on

KeepAliveTimeout 45

If those settings are not matching, change them, restart Apache:

service httpd restart

And watch that log file to see if perhaps those messages go away.

Maybe you can update the Home edition with Kopano (instead of Zarafa) and adjust the price. (add the cost of Kopano)

A community version (free or very inexpensive) isn't likely coming down the pipeline any time soon. It was fine with Tim B. championed the community Zarafa app...however, for us (ClearCenter) to take ownership of building RPM's from source and maintaining them is really not in the cards...not just from a resource/ROI point of view...it's almost a kind of a conflict of interest. Kopano and ClearCenter are good partners and we want Kopano to succeed, both technically and financially. They have their own Community for beta testing, QCing etc. as do we. As a commercial partner to Kopano, we owe it to them to offer their paid subscriptions.

Maybe a little bit offtopic, but it sure has to do with an upgrade of Kopano.
Are there plans to make Kopana available for the ClearOS Home Edition, which still includes a Zarafa license.

I definitely like to upgrade to Kopano some day and i hope there will be a special package as with Zarafa.
