i am getting this error message in Events "IPv6 Firewall Error - Restricted Access Only"

any idea where I should begin to look.

    I'm back.

    This generally happens if you have a Custom rule (or any manual rule) using the word "iptables" instead of "$IPTABLES" and you have an IPv4 address in the rule. If you are still getting this, what is the output to:
    firewall-start -d
    firewall-start6 -d
