Hi, friends.
I am new to this, so my question might be completely off....or not...lets see:
Is it possible to install clearOS (i want to run a firewall) on a Virtual machine which is physically a windows server 2012 doing my Active Directory?
I thought of having three network cards..
ETH0 coming from the internet
ETH1 traffic to a switch to be distributed
ETH2 card for the windows server

the machine is an i7 with 8gb RAM

How does that sound?

    Hi Roberto

Yes this can be done, as i have done that in the past. You do need to set the NIC's correctly though, but i'm sure you are aware of this.
Currently i also run ClearOS as a VM - Just in VMWare ESXI instead of Hyper-V and it works fine.
