Fresh install of ClearOS 7.7 from the new ISO.
One ethernetport connected to the network
Enabled network during installation. Experience are when not doing this I also have the issues below but now it doesn't help.
</ul>

When I reboot the server after installation I presented with a white screen. I'm going to the CLI and do "ip addr". I have a IP address but when pinging Google.nl I have no response. Error: Network is unreachable. I can access the server from a client but when registering errors due no network to the outside.

update: bulleted list not working

    What do you mean? CPU resources?

    See the output of "top", but I think it is a red herring.

    Was yours on a VM or a proper server?

    Physical server. I want to test Kimchi so I used a spare server.
    Not good. I've no idea how to troubleshoot this one. I think we may need to get the iso taken down but I can't do that.....

    I've just had it happen again. When it is happening it looks like gconsole is taking ~100 cpu.

    Was yours on a VM or a proper server?

    I see a whitescreen issue intermittently in a VM but I've never had it with a live server. It clears on a reboot generally so is hard to find. As it is intermittent on a VM and happens even when you have an IP address it does not seem to be anything to do with having an IP address, but I can try to look some time. If you don't have an IP address you cannot access the webconfig. I am really puzzled by the issue, but as I saw it on the minority of occasions only on a VM Shad decided to push ahead with the release.

    After reboot the I now get the network console not sure why I first had a white screen... I can now set the interface to external. I now realise that I also could done this via the webconfig. I can successfully ping Google.nl and register the system.

    I think there is still a issue with the installer when the server has no active NIC / IP address. You get the white screen from the network console after installation.
