My IDS Signatures & Content Filter Blacklists NOT UPDATE since Mon Mar 21 20:46:49 2022 and Mar 4, 2022 5:20:41 AM.

When I do Software Updates, "The latest software updates are installed."

Then when check Intrusion Protection System under Gateway, there's no block ip as usual.

MyClearos under subscription ClearOS Home Edition, Basic.

Can some help and guide me, thanks.

Has this been resolved? What's strange is that I did a system audit of my clear gateway three days before my signatures subscription was suppose to expire, and it reverted to 2015. I just renewed my license (pay as I go, yearly). Signatures are from 2022. If no one is going to update them, we should beable to keep the latest version without renewing our subscription (instead of reverting to 2015).

    Thanks,

    Nathan,

COS is dead at the moment and don't expect an answer from Clear.
Paying for any subscription is a waste of money. We all have paid for the subscriptions or licenses but are not getting the deliveries for them.

Highly recommend everyone switch to OpnSense. I did 10 days ago, much better product in every regard.

Same here Georgina got subscription for a full year ...... Maybe we should ask for a refund!

Another 30 updates to CentOS 7, most of them also applicable to ClearOS 7.
This is now the 3rd batch of updates missing from ClearOS.

ClearOS is now well and truly out-of-date. Shame on the ClearOS mangement for :-

    1. not providing updates to a product that their web-site clains is still supported.
    2. allegedly taking money from paying customers but not providing the support for which payment was made.

Is ClearOS on the brink of financial collapse? What other reason could there be for not investing a modest amount of money to ensue people like Nick provide the necessay support to keep ClearOS current?

I totally agree and i think the most customers of COS

    1. As mentioned before the communication of COS (Micheal) is lacking and it this is a signal it it going down the hill
    2. This is shaming and we have payed for support or updates, not even to mentioned develoment. So basicly we are entitled to a refund of out money

Nick was the only point of contact over the last years who did a lot to support the cusotmers of COS
It looked to me he was the onlt one at COS wit a heart for the customers and had the decency to reply or communicate

    @Michael,

    Thank you for your reply.
it would be appropriate if you responded with a few more words and gave your customers a decent update on what's going to happen with a clear timeline.

Michael - More promises, just promises. How about actually providing proper support for the product instead of nothing more than just words.. By your actions you don't seem to care that users' systems are becoming increasingly vulnerable. People who have paid for support are allegedly not receiving it judging by appends on these forums. Is this the reputation you want for your company?

Is there any update to this? I just updated my subscription, but I haven't seen IDS updates since 03/21/22 either.

    Thanks!

I have been told not to expect updates for the "main part of the summer" as there are some issues to be resolved with our supplier. I have queried this but not had a response, unfortunately.
