I'm still running ClearOS community 6.9 final. I decided to try the IBVPN app. I installed from marketplace and configured using my ibvpn username and password, added a couple devices and started the service. Unfortunately, the IBVPN app stops a few seconds after starting. Below are some log excerpts. The messages log shows an AUTH_FAILED and in the system log, it seems to indicate a loop as the service continually restarts. I verified my username and password by using those credentials to sign in on the ibvpn page. Any thoughts??

    Hi Nick,

    I've been encountering this same AUTH_FAILED error on using the IBVPN app. And no, there is no special characters in my password. What else might be the reason that is causing this error can you please help me fix it??

    I'm afraid all I can do is try to attract the attention of the devs. It is not an app I use and I would have to pay ibVPN to use it.

    Please note that the credentials that you use to login to the ibVPN client area are not the same as the password used to establish a VPN connection. There is a separate field for VPN password under your account settings. Please set this if not already done. Or reset it if you don't recall what it is. Then, from the ClearOS ibVPN app, enter the same VPN password there... not your client area password. See attached screenshot.
