Hello to all,

I have clear OS 6 running on a Proliant microserver Gen 7, because the onboard raid controller is a soft raid controller i have installed a P410 smart arry controller.
It works great and i did not need to install any drivers to get it to work. Clearos just sees the drives i created.

Problem is that i need to monitor the drive healt from time to time to see if all drives are still ok. All drives are raid 1 or raid 5 so a failure of a drive will not be noticed until the other drive in the raid set dies too.

I have downloaded and installed "HPSSACLI-2.0-23.0x86_64.rpm" using rpm -i "file name".
I can now exicute a command like "hpssacli controller slot=1 physicaldrive all show" and it will show me the following output.

Smart Array P410 in Slot 1

array A

physicaldrive 2I:0:5 (port 2I:box 0:bay 5, SATA, 250 GB, OK)
physicaldrive 2I:0:6 (port 2I:box 0:bay 6, SATA, 250 GB, OK)

array B

physicaldrive 2I:0:7 (port 2I:box 0:bay 7, SATA, 2 TB, OK)
physicaldrive 2I:0:8 (port 2I:box 0:bay 8, SATA, 2 TB, OK)

array C

physicaldrive 1I:0:1 (port 1I:box 0:bay 1, SATA, 320.0 GB, OK)
physicaldrive 1I:0:2 (port 1I:box 0:bay 2, SATA, 320.0 GB, OK)
physicaldrive 1I:0:3 (port 1I:box 0:bay 3, SATA, 320.0 GB, Rebuilding)

Is there a way to get an extra page in the web gui where whit a button a command can be exicuted and the output showed in a tekst box below. That way you dont have to use SSH to monitor disks and so on.

Can somebody point me in het right direction to create something like this.

Whit regards Frans Ceelen
