ClearOS Feature Request
How-To: Monitor/View active sessions
Recently installed ClearOS 7 Home
How does one watch active sessions, see the history of past sessions, etc?
Do you need to add a wiget, or some other modules, etc?
Can one view sessions using ClearOS?
Can one see an entry for a past session, and control firewall settings (blocks) right from the sessions area?

Current sessions can be seen in the Network Visualiser program but it is not desperately helpful. There is no way of directly blocking current sessions (and it is surprisingly difficult to do that in the firewall once a session is established).
The only way to see browsing history is to use the Proxy where you can get reporting from the Proxy report. These days the Proxy is not very good if used in transparent mode because it can't intercept https traffic and a lot of traffic is using https these days. If you want to use the proxy for reporting, you need really to run it in non-transparent mode but it does require setting the proxy in every workstation or using WPAD.
