Issue

How to block Torrent form ClearOS 7 completely.

Hello Guys,

I have a Clear OS 7 server running as Gateway & Proxy. I need to block torrent downloading and uploading completely. I already blocked it from Protocol Filter(file sharing). But torrent is still working with downloading and uploading from my network. Can anybody help me out to block torrent from my network completely?

    I was unable to duplicate the issue. Keep in mind, you will still see Bittorrent connections being made, but traffic will be severely restricted. However, I have a feeling that there's something else that is not working on your system.

    Thanks for solution, but I already did that. I am using Utorrent for testing, and I have completely removed this and installed again on my PC. I am Still able to download torrent. Please help.

    Hi John Doe,

    What Bittorrent client are you using?

    Also, try shutting down your Bittorrent client (completely shutting it down). The Protocol Filter only looks at the first few packets of a new connection, so already established connections won't get blocked.
