Hi, I have been using Nextcloud for a while now, it's using a 3TB HDD, but I am now getting multiple warnings that it has run out of space. I did some research and found

'versions_retention_obligation' => 'auto', this parameter could be managed to control versions and aging, I tried using it in my nextcloud config.php file, but it did not work in reducing the size of the folder. I tried multiple settings per:

https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/latest/admin_manual/configuration_files/file_versioning.html#:~:text=The%20Versions%20app%20never%20uses,the%20default%20pattern%20in%20config.

but to no avail.

So I went in with brute force and simply rm'd everything in the folder, but that did not help either, although now the drive has nearly 2TB of free space, but for some reason nextcloud is not able to see this free space and use it.

Can someone please suggest a course of action that hopefully does not mean formatting and reinstalling everything.

Thanks

Manuel
