If you have the old Bandwidth Manager installed from the command line and enabled, if you boot to one of the newer el7 kernels, the firewall will panic as the kernel is not compatible with it. The older v7 kernels are OK.

The old bandwidth manager app was never properly released in ClearOS 7 and has never been maintained. Now we are using a pure upstream kernel which does not have the IMQ patch. You will see IMQ errors in your system log and the firewall will go into panic. You will need to either disable or remove the app.
yum remove app-bandwidth app-bandwidth-core

If you do want QoS you can install the QoS/Bandwidth Manager from the marketplace, but note that it uses a very different model for QoS and does not do bandwidth limiting.

Unstickied again. I've pushed another update to app-firewall to obsolete app-bandwidth, and if it finds it preff'd on, to ignore the pref. Belt and braces but the issue should not appear again.

I've re-stickied this post as people may not be rebooting too often. Also there has since been a firewall update and booting to the old kernel won't make it work either. The only option is to remove the old bandwidth manager.
