I just installed ClearOS Community on my machine and have had an issue installing packages from the marketplace. When I try to install a package I get this error: Error, no packages selected for install.
I have reinstalled ClearOS completely and still have this issue trying to install packages.

No apps have been selected for installation.
Looks similar to what's being posted here, but in fact, your issue is very, very different. Nothing to do with Yum or repos and everything to do with your browser and how an ajax call submitted to the server when you select an app for installation is used to maintain state of your selected apps.
When you click on an app (highlight) for installation, you should find a new (or updated) file on your server in /var/clearos/framework/cache/mp-cart.xxxxxx
Where xxxxx will be some random session number.
To help yourself with some troubleshooting, remove any old sessions of that cached file:
rm -rf /var/clearos/framework/cache/mp-cart.*
Go back to Marketplace and refresh the page...add an app.
If you don't see that file being created, that's where we need to start looking. If you do see that file, and you go to the "Install selected apps" page and the table show nothing, I'd be surprised, but we need to troubleshoot that differently.
Report back and we'll see if we can get to the root cause.

Ben,
I do not get any mp-cart-xxxxxx files created in that directory when I select an item for install.
The cache folder is owned by root with permissions drwxrwxrwt.
I run into this problem during the initial setup wizard when it gives me the option to install Marketplace apps, so I have not done much yet to affect teh system.
Any ideas what to look at next to fix this?
Thanks,
Joe

One thing that crossed my mind is that maybe there are some corrupt files on a mirror when you did you first install. Now with your second install you pulled in from a different mirror solving the problem but I'm just a guessing...
I had actually thought about that too, so just for fun, I just used the same install media (same USB drive, didn't recreate it), as the first time, for my second install. So that blew that theory up, I honestly have no idea what changed! -

I am having the same problem. I select the packages in the marketplace that I install then hit install and it jumps to the install page saying "No apps have been selected for installation."
My repo list is shown below.
I did run:
yum-config-manager --enable clearos-updates
Updating through the GUI did work. Also, I can install apps successfully using yum.
I have reinstalled several times and have the same problem.
I have rebooted the sever several time. But that does not change the reults.
The computer that I am using to connect to the server is running WIndows 10. I tried using the latest Firefox and also the Edge browser.
Any idea how to fix?

Maybe a stupid suggestion but what I do in such situations is reboot my server. Sometime it solves the problem... mostly not...
It indeed sounds like your marketplace app is corrupt or something.
No worries, I'll take any suggestions!
Unfortunately I have tried that a few times, and in this situation, no such luck. -

Additionally, if I click the question mark to view more about the app, and hit the "Download and Install" button there, it does nothing, like it's not actually a link to install anything.
I'm starting to think maybe my market install is just fubar'd, whenever it pops up any errors they're just blank messages that say "Close", like this. Is there a way to reinstall the market without having to totally reinstall ClearOS? -

Whoa...you're digging up an old post. Your repos look fine.
What about:
yum upgrade
B.
I am! Sorry about that I had been putting off upgrading my 6.6 install for so long just because I didn't want to play with it. But today I was trying to get some scripts working for some plex monitoring tools that required Python 2.7, and I was having trouble getting that up and running, so I figured today might as well be the day to make the jump!
yum upgrade is running right now, doing a lot of work, that may be the solution! We'll see in a bit.
As far as what I was trying to install, pretty much anything, there's a long list but as an example, the Administrators app is one.
Another weird thing I'm noticing, on my 6.6 install I had installed google-authenticator, and gotten that setup to require a OTP on SSH logins, on 6.6 I was able to just do:
sudo yum install google-authenticator
On 7.2 though, it's coming back that that is not a package, did some of the repos from 6.6 get axed in the 7.2 release? Or could that be another symptom of the issue I'm having?
EDIT: yum upgrade finished, no luck there, still getting the same message. -

Hello, hopefully someone is still around that has an answer to this. I'm having this exact issue as well, just freshly installed ClearOS 7.2, coming off of 6.6, I verified my clearos-updates are enabled, and even ran that line just to be sure. I can go through the marketplace and mark up a bunch of apps to install, then hit Install Selected Apps, and it will just drop and say that no apps were selected to install. Very frustrating!
Anyone have a fix for this? My output from yum repolist is:

Thank you for your response, but I found an answer in this post:
https://www.clearos.com/clearfoundation/social/community/clearos-7-1-final-released-discussion
Jean-Francois,
You need clearos-updates enabled...run:
yum-config-manager --enable clearos-updates
This is likely a result of coming off the beta or RC release and timing around when you registered...should not be a widespread issue. -
