I've tried in my VM but as I don't have RAID I can't configure or test.
Does your ISP use e-mail authentication? When it was working, what was the "from address"?
It would be interesting to see your /var/log/maillog when it is trying to send.
Do you run postfix/your own mailserver in ClearOS?
What I'm not so keen on is there is nowhere to specify your mail server in the app. -

It is suppose to send email, it use to work, not now.
i've even tried entering MAILADDR my.email@domain.com to /etc/mdadm.conf
tried the test email button and "# mdadm --monitor --scan --test -1"
could my isp be blocking personal email servers? i'm assuming that mdadm acts as it's own server to send notification. -

I don't use raid so you'll have to help me.
Do you configure an e-mail address to send to or does it send to root? If it sends to root, have you aliased root to a valid e-mail account. If you configure a specific e-mail address to send to, does your mail log show anything? Also do you use SMTP authentication in your SMTP server?
