DHCP Server set device to have permanent ip address

If i edit a device/ip address under Network/Infrastructure/dhcp server from lease "dynamic" to "static" will that essentially make the device always have the same ip address for that MAC Address?

    Hi Eric.....

    Yes, that's completely correct. You can also edit the IP address if you want the device to have a specific address to keep say all your printers or member servers in a particular range. Once rebooted the device will then collect the address you specified.
