Hey Guys, I've created a user with ftp privileges and a flexshare (both from the Webconfig). I've configured and enabled FTP and Web in the flexshare configuration (from the Webconfig). I've enabled the flexshare. However, when trying to access the flexshare using Filezilla on port 990, I get "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server". All relevant FTP ports are enabled on my incoming firewall. Any ideas?

Hmm. This is not very helpful as I have just downloaded Filezilla and I get:
    Status:	Connecting to 172.17.2.5:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
    Status: Initializing TLS...
    Status: Verifying certificate...
    Status: TLS connection established.
Status: Server does not support non-ASCII characters.
    Status: Logged in
    Status: Retrieving directory listing...
Status: Directory listing of "/" successful
So, right now I am a bit short of ideas.

Can the user access the share through Windows Filesharing?

Yes, that is what I mean by FTP privileges. Yes, ClearOS is the firewall. When trying to go through port 21 using Filezilla, I get the following:
Status:	Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
    Status: Initializing TLS...
    Status: Verifying certificate...
    Status: TLS connection established.
Status: Server does not support non-ASCII characters.
    Status: Logged in
    Status: Retrieving directory listing...
    Command: PWD
Response: 257 "/" is the current directory
    Command: TYPE I
Response: 200 Type set to I
    Command: PASV
Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode (99,32,54,26,235,111).
    Command: LIST
Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

Mind you, I want to use the flexshare rather than the user's home directory anyway.

Have you enabled the user in the FTP App Policy (or in the User menu)? Is that what you mean by FTP privileges?

Can the user user sign on with FTP at port 21? Is ClearOS your Firewall?
