Hello everyone,

I'm having some trouble with ClearOS 6.6.0 Community, probably I'm missing something.
Some time ago I enabled transparent + no user auth, but now I need to disable it and put non transparent + no user auth, so I can block https facebook and others.
The main problem I'm facing is that at the moment I set the configuration needed the users can't navigate anymore, and in their browsers show a message that request enabling the web proxy on my local IP of the ClearOS machine on port 8080.
Am I missing a step after disabling transparent mode? Like restart the server, restart the web proxy service, or apply some settings on the hosts of the LAN?

Thank you and best regards.

As soon as you enable non-transparent mode you need to configure your browsers to use the proxy explicitly. For mainstream browsers on PC's this can be done using a pac file which the browser will pick up automatically. I am not sure pac files work on mobile devices.
