I have referenced both of those articles.
https://www.clearos.com/resources/documentation/clearos/content:en_us:7_ug_web_proxy
https://www.clearos.com/resources/documentation/clearos/content:en_us:kb_o_clearos_guides_setting_up_content_filter_policies
Neither seems to have any information on reconfiguring the ports that the two servers/services run on.
I have edited the following files:
/etc/dansguardian-av/dansguardian.conf
# the port that DansGuardian listens to.
filterport = 3128
# the port DansGuardian connects to proxy on
proxyport = 8080
and
/etc/squid/squid_http_port.conf
# Created automatically based on network configuration
http_port localhost6:8080
http_port localhost4:8080
http_port 192.1.1.10:8080
This has switched the two services around so that the Web Filter is listening on tcp/3128 and forwarding the requests to the proxy on tcp/8080 and proxying and filtering is working.
I need to now adjust the Filter and Proxy report as it has not updated any values since I made the changes. Where are the configuration files for this application?
