I have an HP Proliant server running bare bones CentOS. Is it possible to install or upgrade ClearOS on the CentOS device without erasing the hard drive? If not, is a backup/install/restore process a viable option?
I've done a Google search but I can't find anything specific except for a post on these forums from 2011.

It may be possible using the scripts available on Linode e.g http://wikisuite.org/How-to-install-ClearOS-on-Linode and http://wikisuite.org/How-to-upgrade-a-fresh-install-of-CentOS-to-ClearOS#If_CentOS_is_more_recent_than_ClearOS. If you know your NIC interface name, which you should as they are universal, modify all references to eth0 in the script to the correct name.
