Looking to deploy ClearOS to configure services to handle Firewall, Domain Controller, Active Directory, File and Print duties.

From what I have read I could either load ClearVM first and then create the ClearOS VM or I could load ClearOS and configure KVM for virtualization.

Hoping to get some insight as to which would be the best approach. Very new to ClearOS community and hoping to learn from others.

Any insight appreciated.

VirtualBox is more toward virtualizing desktop systems for personal use. While KVM is for virtualizing servers, which provide services over the network.

The app installs KVM and kimchi VM manager. The kimchi control panel is accessible from clearOS webconfig (Server -> Virtualization -> Kimchi).

I was able to install 'kimchi' on the CLEAROS host and and installed Virtual Machine Manager on a (Fedora) workstation. I have attempted to create 2 VMs, however it doesn't appear they complete. They are stuck sitting at this screen.

    Any ideas?

I am interesting to this solution also, I got a HPE microserver gen10, I had installed ClearOS and I am struggling with KVM atm, would like to find a better solution.
