I have clear os 7 ver 2.3.35-1 community with all plugins set to autoupdate. I have web proxy set to transparent and the content filter on. For over a year it has run fine and blocked adult sites. before that I had clearos 5.1 and it blocked sites fine as well. For the few days it has not been blocking adult content sites or much of anything.
I check by simply typing porn in a browser and checking to first few sites. They have always been bloked but no longer. almost nothing seems to be blocked. I looked at the dansguardian log and there are a few entries for today which seems to indicate it is running. I tried stopping and restarting it both from the webconfig and command line ssh. I reinstalled the content filter plugin. I also tried changing the settings under general from normal to block all. that did not seen to help. All othersetting are left at default.
What should I try next?

No i never did. I think the reason is sites are now using https as all http sites are blocked. I could not block sites that are secure ie HTTPS: without setting up a captive portal with user login and pass but I cannot do that as we have need open access for everybody.
Anyway yes suggestions would be helpful.
Sincerely,

I have just discovered another issue. When I turn off the content filter I can no longer connect to non secure http sites I get an error [Invalid web request] I can only connect to https secure sites.
When I turn the content filter back on I can visit all sites but still not blocking most adult or bad language.
