I've a clearos to manage the students of our school. We'd like now that the students can import a photo linked to their profile (to create student identity cards).
Is there a way to do that, maybe an addon ?

Hello Nick,
Thanks for your message. Yes it could be a solution. Someone in the school made an Office 365 application to be used by the students to upload their pic using their smartphone but it has been refused by our government because of the Personal Data Protection Law.
So we have to found a solution to collec their photo using the computers inside the school. As I've a clearOS system with all students, I had the idea to allow them to connect to their profile and store their photo somwhere.
But I can ask them to login on our school computer and save a photo into their personnal folder, yes. I'll have then to make a script to collect all pictures of all personnal folders, rename them using the user id of their LDAP account .. why not.
I was thinking about an existing tool to do that but I dont know if .. it exists
