You can delete the system in the portal but it only does a logical delete and it may hang on to the DDNS name.

    Hi Nick,

    Thanks for this info.
I guess this does not raise any isue for me as my IP doesn't change for years...

I've change my DNS to the new subdomain. It's simplier.
    You could remove supermicro10foaxfij4
I gues it's a previous install of ClearOS i've made years ago...

Or let me know how I can remove it.

Thanks I understand now how the issue arise.

You still have supermicro10foaxfij4.poweredbyclear.com pointed to a system called Supermicro and has no activity in the DDNS system. The system using 93.4.165.249 is called home.bensali.net and has a different DDNS subdomain (not stated for privacy reasons).

If you really wanted to recover that DDNS, you **may** be able to do it by logging onto the portal and changing the DDNS name for Supermicro which should free up the name for use on home.bensali.net (no guarantees though).

    Hi Nick,

    Default domain : poweredbyclear.com

My previous DDNS was : supermicro10foaxfij4.poweredbyclear.com
And now my subdomain is pointing to my FQDN without any dot.

I did not change my clearos server just my isp so my IP :

Each device registration owns its own DDNS record. Perhaps the record is registered to a different device or registration. What is the domain you are trying to use?
